What does the Open Water Diver course cover?
The PADI/SSI Open Water Diver course teaches you the basic principles of scuba diving, both in safety and technique.
It is structured in a theoretical part, which will take place online or in person, and a practical part, with two sessions in the pool and two in the sea.
You will gain the confidence to dive to a depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world. This course is designed for both beginners and those with minimal previous experience, so you don’t need any previous diving knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 15 years old.
- Course duration: 30 hours.
- Maximum depth: 18 metres.
- No previous diving experience is required.
*Those between 10 and 15 years old will obtain the Junior Open Water certification and will be limited to a maximum depth of 12 metres
